7/16 Inch Competition & Race Performance Pushrods 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax XD316 XDP
Restore lost power from the valvetrain in your 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax with the XDP Pushrods 7/16 inch Competition & Race Performance XD316. The factory pushrods in your Duramax engine are not adequate to handle the stress from your modified engine. Increased cylinder pressures, higher engine RPM, and increased valve spring pressures can quickly max out the material strength of your originally equipped pushrods.
In most instances you won't see physical signs of wear, damage, or failure in your pushrods. That does not mean that they are able to handle the excess load from a modified engine. The XDP Competition and Race Performance Pushrods feature a larger 7/16 inch diameter to give you a drastic strength increase that will support 1000HP+.
Handcrafted to XDP's stringent specifications, the XDP Competition & Race Pushrods are made from only the highest quality materials. The 7/16 inch diameter pushrods are build from seamless 4130/4135 chromoly tubing that is cold drawn over a mandrel for maximum rigidity and strength.
The CNC machined tips are made from 86L20 bar stock that is core hardened and triple tempered to provide the ultimate in impact and wear resistance. Not only do these extra steps during the manufacturing process give you the best components, they maximize the performance of your valvetrain.
The Competition & Race Pushrods can be also be used in mild and stock builds. While they are intended for competition use and high horsepower, the larger pushrod is perfect for those who want to build their engine stronger, or for those who are building now, to make big power down the road. The 7/16 pushrods can handle 1000HP+ and work perfectly on stock to extreme engines. Sold as a set.
